Glass decoration options explained

Screen printing

Ink is printed through a mesh screen directly onto the glass. It suits logos and text in one or several colors and gives a durable, label-free finish.

Hot stamping

Metallic foil is pressed onto the surface with heat. Gold, silver and other metallic finishes add a premium accent and are often combined with screen printing.

Spray coating

The bottle is sprayed with colored coating and cured. It allows solid colors, gradients, matte or glossy finishes and can be combined with printing on top.

Frosting and etching

Acid etching or spray frosting gives a satin, translucent look. Partial frosting can leave a clear window or logo.

Electroplating and decals

Electroplating creates a mirror-metal finish. Decals allow detailed, multi-color artwork that is hard to achieve with printing.

Choosing the method

Consider the artwork, the number of colors, the order quantity and how the product will be used. Ask for durability tests, such as rubbing and alcohol resistance, especially for fragrance bottles.
